Lifting accessories form part of the lifting system and normally require thorough examination at least every six months. We identify each item, examine its condition and markings, and record whether it can remain in service or needs to be quarantined or retired.
Before the visit we agree which equipment will be available, the inspection basis and any access requirements. If a finding needs urgent action, it is explained at the time rather than left for the report alone.

Links, wire, webbing, stitching, hooks and load-bearing parts are checked for wear, damage and distortion.
Markings and compatibility
Required markings and component compatibility are checked against the item and its intended use.
Clear disposition
The report distinguishes equipment that can remain in service from items requiring action, quarantine or retirement.
